DRAFT – pending approval by the competent authority

Last updated: 1 November 2026

What we collect

Student name, school, class, preferred language, the three declarations and the guardian acknowledgment. Optionally, the student may enter an ABHA number or ABHA address; we keep only a masked form (the last 4 digits of the number, or the first 2 letters of the address) and never the full ABHA, which is not verified. We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, phone numbers, dates of birth, home addresses or health records.

Why we collect it

Only to issue an appreciation certificate, allow it to be verified, and produce aggregated campaign statistics.

Children's data

Most participants are under 18. A parent or guardian must acknowledge the submission. Schools may additionally collect a signed acknowledgment as decided by the campaign authority. We do not track, profile or show advertising to students.

Who can see it

Only authorised campaign staff, limited to their district, block or school. Public verification shows only a partly masked name, campaign, district, date and status.

How long we keep it

Records are deleted after the retention period set by the campaign authority. You may ask your school coordinator to correct or delete your record at any time.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, stored in an access-controlled database, and every staff action is logged.

Cookies

A cookie remembers your language choice. Staff use a session cookie to sign in. We use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

Law

This notice is intended to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules notified under it. Final wording will be approved by the competent authority before launch.
