Small students, big health impact
Understand what ABHA is, why it matters and how your family can be part of India's digital health journey.
Your health account, on your phone
ABHA stands for Ayushman Bharat Health Account. It is a free and voluntary health ID that helps you keep your health records together.
- Free to create and voluntary to use
- Helps link your health records, with your consent
- Can be created for any member of the family
Because health information should not get lost
Paper files get lost and reports are forgotten at home. With ABHA, records can be linked in one place and shared with a doctor – only when you say yes. This helps families who travel between villages, towns and hospitals.
Four things a champion does
Create your own
Make your ABHA with an adult's help.
Talk to your parents
Explain it in simple words, like you learnt at school.
Share what you know
Tell grandparents, siblings and neighbours.
Make your pledge
Declare it here and receive your certificate.
Health is a family project
Parents make most health decisions and visit hospitals with their children. When they have ABHA too, the whole family benefits.
- Parents can keep the family's records together
- Elders are reminded to keep records safe
- A child's example makes parents more willing to try
