FAQ

Questions students often ask

Quick, simple answers about ABHA and this portal.

What is ABHA?

ABHA stands for Ayushman Bharat Health Account. It is a free, voluntary health ID that can help link your health records, so you can share them with doctors when you choose.

Why should I create an ABHA?

It keeps your health information organised and easier to carry with you. Fewer papers get lost and check-in is faster at health facilities that support ABHA.

Can my parents also create an ABHA?

Yes. Any family member can have one. Encourage your parents to create theirs, and ask a health worker or teacher if you need help.

Who can participate?

Any student of a school taking part in an active campaign listed on this website. You make a self-declaration and a parent or guardian acknowledges it.

Does this website check my ABHA?

No. You may type your ABHA number or ABHA address – this is optional. The website does not check it with any government system and saves only a masked form (for example XX-XXXX-XXXX-1234), never the full number. It never asks for Aadhaar or phone numbers. The certificate recognises your awareness effort, based on your own declaration.

How do I download my certificate?

Complete the form and submit it. If your campaign issues certificates instantly, you can download it straight away. Otherwise, your school coordinator reviews it first – keep your private link to check later.

I lost my private link. What can I do?

Ask your school coordinator. They can find your submission and share the certificate with you.

Is my personal information safe?

We collect only your name, school, class and preferred language. It is stored securely, seen only by authorised campaign staff and deleted after the retention period.
